Welcome to the Readers' Page!
As an author, I love writing about things which pique my curiosity--and I figure if I'm curious about a certain thing, then there must be a few thousand (at least) readers who are curious about the same thing, and I write to satisfy our collective curiosity. I also like to write to make a positive difference in the world. Certainly in researching and developing these books, I've learned a tremendous amount and gained from my experiences. I've been fortunate to meet many amazing people who have generously given me their time, stories and inspirations. I hope you will find the same joy when reading these stories that I found in the creation of them.
That is what led me to publish more than 600 articles for newspapers and magazines, in addition to writing my books and novels. I write every day, and try to read someone else's work every day. Being a critical reader is what makes a better writer. It's a never-ending process.
